STARWEST by Techwell - logo

Next week, we’re joining software testing and quality assurance (QA) leaders and practitioners at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, California for STARWEST 2018.

Applitools very own Sr. Architect and Evangelist Gil Tayar will be giving his brand new talk: “Frontend Testing: Stepping in and Collaborating with Developers” at STARWEST 2018

What is STARWEST? STARWEST (#STARWEST) is an annual event hosted by TechWell featuring the top minds in software testing sharing the latest trends, tips and tools on stage and through conference networking opportunities. This year’s conference is taking place in Anaheim, in Orange County near Los Angeles (hey, Mickey!) from September 30 – October 5.

For the next few days, we’ll explore, share and learn about DevOps, security testing, agile testing, Big Data and more. Among the impressive lineup of speakers include representatives from eBay, Microsoft, Progressive Insurance, Intel and dozens more. We’re certain that we will learn a lot from this event and hope to take home some refreshing new insights and excitement about the latest innovations in software testing.

We are also scheduled to present on Thursday, October 4 — Gil Tayar, Senior Architect will discuss, “Frontend Testing: Stepping in and Collaborating with Developers.” Join him at 9:45 a.m. as he provides a deeper understanding of the different kinds of tests, how to decipher developer terminology regarding frontend testing, and how to write unit, integration, browser, and E2E tests.

Gil’s a fantastic speaker and longtime front-end developer. (Just how long he’d rather not say.) His talks always contain plenty of technical depth and practical tips. You can see one of his past talks below.

As Gold Sponsors, we’re happy to support STARWEST 2018. You can find us at booth #35 during exhibit hours. We’re excited to share the latest visual testing and monitoring techniques that support automation and improved visual UI testing through the Application Visual Management (AVM) approach.

We’re also looking forward to sharing the latest from Applitools Eyes, our Automated Visual AI Testing Platform. Some of the latest features include UI Version Control that lets you build software smarter by capturing the entire visual history of your apps, so you have a record of what’s been changed, by whom, and when — and what should be rolled back if necessary.

Additionally, Applitools Eyes offers UI baseline management, team collaboration, expanded third-party tool integrations and extensive analytics dashboards – eliminating the stress of manual visual testing through its AI features. This helps ensure a visually perfect user experience on every single browser and device. Stop by booth #35 to learn more.

We hope to see you there!
